Job summary

WSP is seeking a Process Piping Designer to join our Power Generation team. The role supports projects across multiple locations including Mt Laurel, NJ and Oradell, NJ, with Greenville, SC a primary site.

You will develop piping models, coordinate with engineers, and ensure QA on deliverables for moderate to large scale projects. We value 3D CAD proficiency (AutoCAD/MicroStation), Hexagon CADWorx/SmartPlant, and Navisworks coordination, plus strong leadership and client communication skills to

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in a closely related discipline or 10+ years of equivalent experience.
10+ years of design/drafting experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
3D modeling design experience with Hexagon CADWorx or Hexagon SmartPlant.
Coordination model experience with Navisworks.
Strong QA/QC, codes, and design standards knowledge.

Responsibilities

Develop process piping models and equipment arrangements with minimal direction.
Perform field verification on established and construction sites.
Prepare precise drawings using CAD tools with high accuracy.
Provide technical design guidance and resolve discrepancies with engineers.
Lead or support drafting/design tasks for mid-to-large projects.
Monitor progress and ensure contract compliance and quality control.
