Job summary

WSP is seeking a Process Piping Designer in Greenville, SC with remote locations considered in NJ, KS, TX, GA, ID. Join our Power Generation team to develop piping models, equipment layouts, and field verification across sites, combining CAD expertise with QA/QC practices for complex projects.

Responsibilities include leading drafting tasks, coordinating with engineers, and mentoring junior staff while ensuring adherence to codes and project standards. Travel may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years post-education experience in design/drafting with CAD software.
• Experience with public and private sector projects.
• Ability to lead and review technical computations and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Develop process piping models and equipment arrangements with QA deliverables.
• Use CAD software and resolve design discrepancies with engineers.
• Coordinate with clients, regulators, and staff to ensure compliance.
• Provide guidance and training to draft/design staff.
• Advise on progress, schedule, and project scope.
