Job summary

CCL in Tanzania is seeking an experienced Lead Process and Flow Assurance engineer to oversee process design, PFDs and P&IDs, and to drive flow assurance analyses for oil and gas projects based in Tanzania.

The role requires leading technical deliverables, coordinating with mechanical, piping, instrumentation and operations teams, and ensuring compliance with international standards and project requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering or related discipline.
• Extensive process engineering and flow assurance experience in oil/gas/energy sector.
• Proficient in industry-standard process simulation software (HYSYS, OLGA, PIPESIM).

Responsibilities

• Lead process design activities, develop PFDs and P&IDs, and perform sizing calculations for equipment and piping.
• Conduct transient and steady-state thermal-hydraulic simulations for flow assurance.
• Ensure engineering deliverables comply with regulations, standards, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with mechanical, piping, instrumentation and operations teams to optimize system performance.
