Job summary

Milestone Staffing Services is seeking an entry-level Process Engineer with offshore platform experience to perform basic engineering calculations and analyses under supervision. You will interface with multiple disciplines, vendors, and drafting teams to develop and review design input, data, and drawings.

You will prepare specifications, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to project documentation while promoting HSSE practices.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic engineering calculations and analyses using prescribed methods.
• Interfaces with other technical disciplines, vendors, and contractors to gather data.
• Works with drafting to supply input and review drawings and specs.
• Prepares specifications with direction, including design data and codes/standards.
• Assists in assembling project documentation and ensuring proper filing.
• Maintains communication with supervisors on work progress and issues.
• Promotes HSSE procedures and quality control in all tasks.
• Participates in site visits to understand field conditions.

• Process Engineering, Offshore platform experience.Skill sets: Hysys, HAZOP/LOPA, HAZID, MOC, Surveillance experience, produced water, flow assurance.
• Performs basic engineering calculations, analyses, and other tasks using prescribed methods and procedures.
• Applies engineering principles with direction from supervisor.
• Interfaces with other technical disciplines, vendors, and contractors to provide or gather necessary data.
• Interfaces with Drafting to supply technical input and review their work.
• Prepares specifications with direction, including design data, applicable codes/standards, and vendor drawing requirements.
• Develops foundational understanding of engineering drawings and industry regulations.
• Learns applicable industry and regulatory requirements for assigned discipline.
• Participates in site visits with more experienced engineers or designers to understand field conditions.
• Assists in assembling project documentation and ensuring information is filed correctly.
• Contributes to the development of accurate and code-compliant specifications.
• Maintains communication with supervisors on work progress, issues, or support needs.
• Continuously practices Quality Control while executing the work.
• Actively promotes and personally observes all company, client, and regulatory Health, Safety, Security, & Environment (HSSE) procedures.
