Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a Process Engineering Manager to lead all process engineering activities in the aluminum extrusion operation. You will drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, productivity, yield and energy efficiency through process optimization and technology implementation.

You will develop and lead a team of process engineers and technicians, establishing best practices and data‑driven decision making across the facility.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials, Chemical or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Experience in manufacturing engineering, ideally aluminum extrusion or similar metals environment.
• Comfort leading or mentoring a team, even if people-management experience is growing.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma and continuous improvement tools.
• Knowledge of die technology, SPC/DOE, process capability and automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering across billet preheating, extrusion, anodizing, fabrication and finishing.
• Optimize extrusion parameters to boost productivity and quality.
• Drive OEE, throughput, recovery and first-pass yield using Lean and Six Sigma.
• Lead Kaizen events and CI projects for safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Partner with Product Engineering and Sales on new profiles and fabrication methods.
• Build and grow a team of Process Engineers and Continuous Improvement Specialists.
• Champion MES, data acquisition and digital process monitoring.
• Collaborate with Quality to reduce scrap and warranty issues; root-cause problem solving.
• Own annual productivity, cost and energy goals; shape the engineering roadmap.
• Engage with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain and Commercial; represent process voice with customers.
• Maintain a strong safety culture and ensure OSHA & environmental standards compliance.
