Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group is seeking a Lead Process Engineer in Bellefontaine, OH to drive manufacturing improvements and process optimization. You will oversee KPI initiatives, collaborate with senior engineering and production leaders, and implement CI projects on the shop floor.

This hands-on role requires floor presence up to 50% of the day, with autonomy to spearhead upgrades and mentor junior engineers in a team-focused, flexible environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• At least five years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Understanding of process controls, PFMEA preferred.
• Experience with continuous improvement initiatives and scrap reduction.
• Project management skills including timelines and budgets.
• Basic 2D and 3D modeling.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate globally with sister sites to share best practices.
• Track KPIs and drive production improvements.
• Lead CI projects and manage budgets and timelines.
• Analyze capacity and perform biannual capacity reviews.
• Troubleshoot on the manufacturing floor up to 50% of the day.
• Assist new models team with startup prep and line modifications.
• Optimize layouts with CAD and design fixtures/gauges.
