Scalable Sourcing is seeking a Lead Process Engineer in Bellefontaine, OH to co-lead the engineering team and drive manufacturing improvements. The role emphasizes hands-on floor work, collaboration with senior leaders, and delivering KPI-driven results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Understanding of PFMEA and process controls.
• Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives (scrap reduction, downtime elimination).
• Project management skills including timelines and budgets.
• Basic 2D/3D modeling.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sister sites to share best practices and support manufacturing initiatives.
• Track and drive KPIs for production numbers.
• Lead CI projects, managing budgets, timelines, and multiple projects.
• Perform biannual capacity analyses for the designated area.
• Spend up to 50% on the manufacturing floor performing engineering tasks and troubleshooting.
• Assist new model engineering team with startup preparation and line modifications.
• Improve line layouts and use CAD tools to design fixtures and gauges.
• Educate associates on standard production, quality, and engineering procedures.
• Bridge gaps between operations and quality to address root causes and countermeasures.
• Handle additional engineering assignments as needed.
