Job summary

Aspiring to join Aspire Talent Solutions as Lead Process Engineer in Bellefontaine, OH, you will lead manufacturing processes and drive continuous improvement with a veteran team. The role emphasizes engineering autonomy, collaboration, and strong KPI ownership.

You will be on the factory floor up to 50% of the day, guiding junior engineers, coordinating with leaders, and implementing cost-effective upgrades across the line.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/manufacturing technologies or related field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• General understanding of process controls, PFMEA.
• Experience with CI initiatives: scrap reduction, uptime improvements.
• Project management including timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with global sister sites to share best practices and drive initiatives.
• Track and drive KPIs and production numbers.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and manage budgets and timelines.
• Analyze capacity and perform biannual capability analyses for the designated area.
• Spend up to 50% on the manufacturing floor performing engineering tasks and troubleshooting.
• Assist new model engineering team with startup preparation, tooling readiness, and line modifications.
• Improve layouts and design fixtures/gauges using 2D/3D software.
• Educate associates on production, quality, and engineering procedures.
