Job summary

Aptiv is seeking a Process Engineer to support twisting, bunching, and cabling equipment and extrusion processes across PVC, TPE, TPU, and other polymers for diverse markets. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and cost improvements in a hands-on, cross-functional setting.

You will work with design engineers and suppliers to implement engineered process solutions, perform validations, and develop operator SOPs while driving efficiency and throughput improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering with 3.0+ GPA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Comprehensive knowledge of bulk cable and cable assembly design and testing.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve extrusion and cabling efficiency with measurable ROI.
• Collaborate with design engineering and suppliers to align machine capability with materials and customer requirements.
• Lead Lean initiatives to streamline production and support new product introductions.
