Job summary

Prysmian Group in Windham, CT seeks a Process Engineer to initiate, coordinate and implement manufacturing process improvements using Lean Sigma methodologies, support process troubleshooting and product quality, and coordinate resources to plan, train and drive improvements.

You will be responsible for providing daily support for process improvements, coordinating resources, and delivering timely, effective results while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical or Polymers).
• 4+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Extrusion experience is highly desirable or any other molding background.
• Wire and cable experience is highly desirable.
• Strong record of Lean Sigma Tools implementation.

As a Process Engineer you will be responsible for initiating, coordinating and implementing manufacturing process improvement initiatives. You’ll integrate Lean Sigma improvement methodologies and activities within the value stream and will serve as a generator and coordinator of ideas for process improvement techniques and implementation strategies. You will ensure that timely and effective results of the process improvements are accomplished. In addition, you will provide daily support for process troubleshooting and product quality, along with the coordination of the resources required to plan, train and implement process improvements.
