Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of applicable experience.
• Minimum 7+ years experience in engineering roles.
• Proven ability to lead engineering teams and manage priorities.
• Strong knowledge of automotive manufacturing systems and automation.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily tasks, priorities, and performance of manufacturing engineers to support production operations.
• Lead lean and Six Sigma initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
• Provide technical assistance to resolve process and equipment issues.
• Oversee engineering support for new product introductions, including process design, tooling development, and validation.
• Ensure all engineering activities comply with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date process documentation.
• Lead a cross functional team of Engineers, Maintenance, Quality, Operations and others to solve problems and prevent recurrence.
• Develop training plan for process engineers.
• Support maintenance group and take lead as required with more technical repairs.
• Support new business planning and implementation.
