Job summary

Mesa Labs seeks a Senior Process Development Engineer to lead manufacturing process development, optimization, and scale-up across multiple product families. You will drive efficiency, improve product quality, and reduce costs while ensuring regulatory compliance and implementation of best practices.

Responsibilities include leading technology transfers, mentoring engineers, and collaborating with R&D, quality, and operations to translate product specs into robust, scalable processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in process development, manufacturing engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, optimization, and scaling of manufacturing processes from concept to full-scale production.
• Develop and refine PFDs, P&IDs, SOPs, and equipment specs.
• Drive process improvement using Six Sigma, DOE, SPC, and FMEA.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet safety, quality and cost goals.
