Job summary

Heraeus Medevio is seeking a Process Development Engineer III/Senior EIII to lead robust manufacturing process development for medical components and devices. You will provide technical leadership for commercial product releases, work cross-functionally, and mentor junior engineers, with site movement between Fridley and White Bear Lake, MN.

The role emphasizes hands-on process work, data analysis, and documentation, with opportunities to advance within Medevio and contribute to improving lives

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or related technical field required or strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience; substitutions allowed as described in the posting.
• Experience in medical devices manufacturing or process development desired.
• Ability to make data-driven decisions using statistics.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to all audiences, including senior management.
• Willingness to travel between Fridley, MN and White Bear Lake, MN sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead process design, development, and validation for medical devices.
• Provide technical leadership for commercial product release.
• Apply DOE, pFMEA, and statistics for data-driven decisions.
• Develop, implement, maintain, and document processes for new products.
• Lead tooling, fixturing, and equipment identification and installation.
• Create or review process validation protocols and engineering studies.
• Mentor other engineers and promote continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with technicians and operators to solve technical problems.
• Establish regional relationships and share best practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
