Job summary

Seaboard Energy is seeking an Industrial Automation and Process Controls Engineer to act as the process control expert for refinery DCS, SIS platforms and OT. The role leads capital projects from front end loading to commissioning and ensures SIS and DCS designs meet Seaboard standards and best practices.

The candidate will support operations and maintenance, perform FAT/IFAT/SAT, participate in PSM activities, and document site best practices for DCS/SIS platforms.

Qualifications

Requires IEC61511 and ISA 84 SIS knowledge.
3+ years as a Controls Engineer (design, programming, startup).
Experience with Allen‑Bradley Logix and Studio5000.
Experience with SCADA/HMI (FactoryTalk View SE).
Strong networking/computer skills and written/oral communication.

Responsibilities

Maintain and update existing automated systems.
Provide PID loop tuning and data analysis support.
Lead capital projects from FEL to commissioning for process control and SIS.
Interface with project teams and site process control personnel.
Participate in PSM activities (MOC, PHA/HAZOP/LOPA, Alarm Rationalization).
Develop/process control documentation and FAT/IFAT/SAT testing.
