Job summary

Seaboard Energy is seeking an Industrial Automation and Process Controls Engineer to lead DCS/SIS projects at the Hugoton refinery. You will drive front-end loading through commissioning, ensuring safe, reliable controls and OT solutions aligned with Seaboard standards.

Relocation assistance is available; exceptional candidates in nearby MO or KS may travel extensively for the Hugoton facility. You will interface with operations, I&E, and vendors throughout project lifecycles.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience with IEC61511 and ISA 84 SIS.

Responsibilities

Maintain and update existing automated systems.
Provide troubleshooting support for PID loop tuning and data analysis.
Support production and changes to equipment configuration and automation systems.
Coordinate process control and SIS vendor activities across multiple projects.
Interface with site process control personnel for all projects.
Participate in PSM activities (PHA/HAZOP/LOPA/Alarm Rationalization).
Participate in FAT, IFAT, SAT and HMI development for projects.
Deliver process designs, DCS/SIS I/O, and P&ID drawings.
Coordinate with panel shops to implement designs.
Develop and submit control panel checkout and factory acceptance tests.
Interface with customer representatives to meet contract requirements.
Review SIS documentation and complete FSA per ISA 84 for modified/new SIS.
SME for documenting site best practices for DCS/SIS.
Provide production support for changes to equipment configuration and systems.
