Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.

• Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the engineering department.
• Lead and mentor engineers, guiding design and implementation.
• Plan resources and schedules to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Institute engineering processes and ensure quality and safety.
• Collaborate with product management and QA to align goals.
• Establish metrics to monitor productivity and progress.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
• Drive technical innovation and adopt new technologies.
• Supervise staff in civil, electrical, mechanical analysis and design.
• Review regulatory and technical reports for accuracy.
• Oversee projects to improve processes and update methods.
• Provide vision for process control and staff motivation.
• Negotiate regulatory permits and ensure compliance.
• Approve purchasing, budgets, and major design changes.
