Job summary

INEOS Olefins & Polymers USA is seeking a Technical Process Control Engineer to lead process control efforts at Chocolate Bayou Works – Alvin, TX. The role drives capital project execution, DCS systems optimization, and safety leadership within a cross-functional team.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field and 10–15 years of process control experience. Expertise in Honeywell Experion, alarm management, and loop tuning is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, electrical, instrumentation or control systems engineering.
• 10-15 years of experience in process control or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of Honeywell Experion and DCS architectures.
• Proven ability to lead capital projects and provide technical guidance to process control engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned capital projects from early FEL to completion.
• Provide QA for EPC deliverables and ensure process control standards are followed.
• Develop, maintain and review site process control procedures, standards and runbooks.
• Serve as the site SME for DCS and process control; mentor newer engineers.
