Job summary
LGS Precast LLC in Texas is seeking a Production Manager to lead our prestressed production line. This hands-on role will build the team, processes, and quality records for hollow-core and beam products, coordinating with engineering, yard, and shipping to move product from bed to jobsite.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years in precast or prestressed concrete production, 2+ years in supervision, and strong safety leadership.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in precast or prestressed concrete production, with 2+ years in supervision.
- Hands-on prestressing operations knowledge (strand tensioning, elongation, release procedures).
- Ability to read shop drawings, production sheets, and mix designs.
Responsibilities
- Plan and run daily production on prestressing beds including strand work and curing.
- Build and maintain production schedule to meet delivery dates.
- Lead, train, and evaluate prestress crew.
- Own the quality program and complete production records.
- Coordinate with engineering, yard, and shipping to move product to site.
- Manage materials, consumables, and vendor coordination.
- Oversee equipment readiness and preventive maintenance.
- Track labor and production metrics and seek improvements.
