Job summary

Warrior Precast LLC is seeking a Plant Production Manager to lead day-to-day production operations, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. This role requires coordinating across plant floor teams, driving continuous improvement and workforce development to meet schedules and customer requirements.

The ideal candidate will bring practical leadership, a track record in precast or manufacturing environments, and a proactive approach to removing barriers and maintaining production

Qualifications

• 3+ years in manufacturing or related operations; supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to lead production employees in a hands-on environment.
• Strong understanding of production workflow, scheduling, and quality control.
• Ability to read production documents, drawings, specifications.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making in fast-paced settings.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Commitment to safety and OSHA-related practices.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications and production records.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily plant production activities per schedules and customer commitments.
• Plan and monitor production workflow from prep to shipment.
• Set daily expectations, ensure adequate staffing and resources.
• Coach and develop production staff and enforce policies.
• Monitor productivity, address performance, coordinate with HR when needed.
• Maintain safe, clean, organized production areas.
• Coordinate with Sales, Estimating, Scheduling, Logistics, Quality, Maintenance.
• Manage material flow and inventory within the plant.
• Oversee preventive maintenance and equipment readiness.
• Investigate issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain production records and KPIs.
• Participate in planning, capacity discussions, and continuous improvement.
• Suggest process/ staffing improvements to boost productivity and quality.
