Job summary

Mittera is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead press operations, ensure efficiency and quality, and coordinate with prepress and postpress teams. The role includes training press crews, enforcing safety and environmental policies, and maintaining compliance with customer specifications.

The candidate will oversee staffing, monitor production metrics, and collaborate across departments to meet deadlines while upholding quality standards.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5+ years of press operator experience and 1–3+ years supervisory experience preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of press operations and functions; mechanical ability a plus.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the department.
• Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
• Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
• Handles discipline and termination of employees per policy.
• Observe press operations to ensure conformance with run specifications and meet customer expectations.
• Coordinate staffing to meet production requirements without overstaffing.
• Maintain records such as daily production, maintenance requests, and downtime reports.
