Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5+ years of press operator experience.
• 1–3+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of press operations and functions.
• Mechanical ability preferred.
• Organized with ability to plan and follow through with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Observe press operations and verify conformance to specifications.
• Authorize quality of product after proofs are checked.
• Communicate production requirements and delivery status to stakeholders.
• Coordinate staffing to meet production needs without over staffing.
• Maintain records: production, maintenance, accidents, and press sheets.
• Monitor press speeds, waste, and labor; report downtime to Scheduling.
• Assist with Preventative Maintenance for presses.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
