Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking an experienced Lead/#1 Press Operator in Eagan, Minnesota. You will lead a production line operating offset and digital presses, ensuring quality output and team performance. A $2,500 signing bonus is offered after 90 days in role.

The role requires strong mechanical skills, leadership, and the ability to train staff while promoting safety and continuous improvement across shifts. Various shift differentials apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; vocational/technical degree preferred.
• Experience leading and training others.
• Experience with industrial production machinery.
• Strong mechanical/technical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Lean/continuous improvement.
• Good cross-shift communication.
• Proven trainer experience.
• Ability to operate multiple presses.
• Experience on 1-2 color web offset and 4-color sheetfed presses.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction, and training to crew.
• Ensure line runs smoothly and produces quality product.
• Facilitate Tier 1 meetings and Gemba Walks for process improvements.
• Train temps or transfers to support workload.
• Motivate team and foster a collaborative environment.
