Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related discipline with a P-3 Standard, CEAS, or CE in Pre-school through 3rd.
• Ability to work effectively with children aged 3-5.

• Ability to engage with children and families from diverse backgrounds.
• Energetic, positive, and passionate about teaching.

Responsibilities

• Learn and adhere to Head Start and Early Head Start performance standards and program policies.
• Create a learning community respecting individual differences.
• Ensure each child receives individual attention and supervision.
• Prepare classroom before arrival of children each day.
• Design developmentally appropriate learning experiences for all students.
• Plan weekly lesson plans and post in a visible area.
