Job summary

Community Action Partnership of Ramsey and Washington Counties is seeking a Head Start Program Nurse to review child health information, advise classroom staff, and coordinate care for families enrolled in Head Start. This role involves health education, care coordination, and ensuring compliance with Head Start Standards and licensing requirements.

The Nurse collaborates with providers to obtain immunizations, physicals, and dental examinations, while leading training for staff and volunteers.

Qualifications

• AA with RN certification required; BSN preferred.
• Active MN Registered Nurse License required.
• Experience in multicultural environments and with families; pediatric nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and establish expectations/work schedules for staff.
• Assist in orientation/training of Health Team staff.
• Coordinate care with medical offices and partners; immunizations and screenings.
• Develop ICCPP documentation with families and providers.
• Ensure safety/compliance with Head Start Standards and licensing.
