Job summary

Chesterbrook Academy in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a full-time Preschool Teacher. Compensation ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, Monday through Friday with no nights or weekends. You will plan, implement, and adapt age-appropriate activities to foster learning through play and exploration.

You’ll work with a supportive team, have curriculum resources, and opportunities to apply your own creativity while building a strong foundation for young learners.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to balance structure, creativity, and fun in a busy preschool classroom.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Meet applicable state licensing requirements.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Previous experience in a licensed childcare or early learning setting is preferred but not required.
• CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Bring lessons to life through hands-on activities, stories, art, music, movement, and play.
• Help preschoolers build confidence, independence, early academic skills, and friendships.
• Use our curriculum and lesson-planning resources as your foundation while adding your own creativity and ideas.
