Job summary

Chesterbrook Academy Raleigh is seeking a dedicated preschool teacher to create a purposeful learning environment for our youngest students. You will be encouraged to be creative and intentional, giving you professional freedom to tailor activities to students' interests and needs.

You will develop resources, collaborate with school teams, and communicate with families to support student achievement, while upholding state education and licensing standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, or completed CDA in Infant/Toddler, or 30+ college credits with 6+ in ECE and 1 year of experience.
• Must pass a state and federal background check.
• Compliance with state education and licensing standards.

Job description

Teaching preschool at Chesterbrook Academy offers teachers the opportunity to create and cultivate a purposeful learning experience for our youngest students. Teachers are encouraged to be creative and intentional when developing activities; you'll have the professional freedom to ensure instructional decisions are based on students' interests and needs. Our teams collaborate and build relationships with fellow staff members, school administration, families, and the community as a whole.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field; or completed CDA in Infant/Toddler; or completion of at least 30 hours of college credit with at least 6 hours in ECE, Child Development, or a related field, and 1 year of previous experience working in a licensed child care facility
• Ability to successfully pass a state and federal background check
• Compliance with all state education and licensing standards
