Job summary

Responsibilities

• Develops weekly lesson plans and implements curriculum for all domains.
• Maintains a developmentally appropriate classroom environment reflecting children’s growth.
• Performs ongoing developmental evaluations and conducts parent conferences twice yearly.
• Implements classroom management and daily schedule; maintains records.
• Maintain anecdotal records for children and communicate with parents regularly.
• Incorporate cultural, linguistic, and family values into activities and plans.
• Assist with transitions and orientation for children and families.
• Close room daily per the center checklist, supervise assistants, and plan supplies.
