Job summary

The Learning Experience - Staten Island, NY is hiring a Lead Preschool Teacher for our young classrooms ages 2-4. This full-time role requires leading a classroom, delivering our LEAP Curriculum, and mentoring assistants.

You’ll foster a safe, nurturing environment and communicate with families about child progress. We offer a brand-new center, opportunities for advancement, and a supportive team dedicated to quality early childhood education.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of preschool/daycare teaching experience.
• Bachelor's Degree or 90 credits in Early Childhood Education (or currently on a Study Plan in Education).
• Knowledge of early childhood education and DAP.
• Strong leadership and classroom management skills.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

• Lead a childcare classroom using our L.E.A.P. Curriculum.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging preschool environment.
• Coach and mentor assistant teachers.
• Manage daily routines, activities, and classroom structure.
