The Learning Experience – Hudson Yards in New York, NY is seeking an experienced Lead Teacher for a 2-year-old classroom. This role guides early language growth, independence, and social development through structured routines and engaging activities.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (or in progress) as required.
• Minimum 6 months of classroom teaching experience.
• Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practice for toddlers.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Must meet all New York State and NYC childcare licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily routines for a 2-year-old classroom.
• Implement developmentally appropriate activities aligned with the L.E.A.P. Curriculum.
• Support early communication, social interaction, and self-help skill development.
