Your Role

We're looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated Lead Guide (Teacher) to support a mixed-age class of preschool age children in a Montessori environment. Guides carefully prepare an environment that fosters independence and captivates a child’s interest, providing personalized support to each child through individual and small group interactions. They demonstrate how to use materials, perform activities, and articulate experiences clearly.

Children in a Montessori class have the liberty to explore and work on materials of their choice, with support and materials that help develop skills, confidence, and a sense of capability. We seek a Lead Guide committed to supporting each child's highest potential.

Children’s House Lead Guides:
  • Observe each child to understand and meet their physical, intellectual, and emotional needs
  • Prepare an environment that fosters concentration, independence, and deep learning
  • Cultivate independence and self-confidence by encouraging children to do tasks themselves
  • Provide individual and small-group lessons in practical skills, literacy, math, and more
  • Build personal connections and cultivate a respectful community
  • Communicate and collaborate respectfully with parents to support each child's development
The Montessori Prepared Environment

Our classrooms are equipped with high-quality Montessori materials and designed according to Montessori principles of beauty and order, enabling children to learn, concentrate, and achieve independence confidently.

  • Child-sized furniture and ample space for independent or small group work
  • Practical life materials for daily activities
  • Curriculum supporting independence in dressing, feeding, and caring for the environment
  • Hands-on materials for math, literacy, science, and more
  • Materials accessible on low shelves and art at child's level
  • Cozy reading areas, natural plants, and natural light
  • Objects made from natural materials like wood, metal, and glass
Candidate Profile
  • Interest in pursuing or holding a Montessori diploma for 3-6, preferably with sponsorship available
  • Experience working with children aged 3-6 in settings like daycare or preschool
  • Familiarity or openness to child-led philosophies such as Reggio Emilia or Montessori
What We Offer
  • Opportunity to contribute to a high-quality Montessori program tailored to individual needs
  • Sponsored Montessori diploma and ongoing professional development
  • 75% tuition discount for two children across our network
  • Supportive peer and mentor network
  • Career growth and promotion opportunities
