Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or unrelated field required.
• Lead Teacher certification required (EEC).
• Minimum of 3 years' teaching experience, in a NAEYC Accredited program preferred.
• Department of EEC Lead Teacher qualification required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish, and/or Haitian Creole strongly preferred.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Staffing and supervision: supervise teachers, conduct performance reviews and monthly observations.
• Orient new team members to routines and curriculum.
• Design and implement trauma-informed curriculum and individualized learning plans.
• Oversee parent conferences and progress reports; coordinate family engagement.
• Maintain health and safety standards and emergency procedures.
• Collaborate with community partners to coordinate services for children and families.
