Job summary

The Growing Years is seeking Lead Preschool and Lead Pre-K Teachers in Clayton, NC. The role requires a high school diploma and the ability to pass background checks, plus an associate or bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or 12 ECE credits. Prior childcare experience is a plus.

Shifts are Mon-Fri from 8:30am-5:30pm, 9:00am-6:00pm, or 8:45am-5:45pm. Compensation is $18-$20 per hour, depending on education and experience, with a generous benefits package and paid trainings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required and ability to pass background checks.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or 12 ECE credits.
• Previous childcare experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare developmentally appropriate lesson plans one week in advance.
• Implement weekly curriculum covering all areas of child development.
• Establish professional rapport with families to provide quality care.
• Ensure safety and maintain an organized, clean classroom.
• Maintain child assessments and conduct parent/teacher conferences.
