Job summary

Loenbro in the Los Angeles area seeks a Preconstruction Manager to oversee strategic client relationships and manage opportunities from identification through award or closeout. You will collaborate with estimating, operations, business development, and marketing to deliver client-focused proposals and support regional sales goals.

This role requires strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills, plus 8+ years in industrial or commercial construction or business development.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial or commercial construction or business development.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of estimating, bid development, and preconstruction processes.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decisions.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead client contact for opportunities.
• Develop long-term relationships with clients, general contractors, engineers, and partners.
• Identify project opportunities through research, networking, and collaboration with teams.
• Own and manage the opportunity lifecycle from identification through bid, award, and closeout (Salesforce).
• Lead RFP/RFQ processes and ensure proposals meet company standards.
• Coordinate with estimating, preconstruction, and operations to develop pricing and proposals.
• Represent Loenbro at regional events and with clients to strengthen presence.
