Fathom Manufacturing in Hartland, WI is seeking a Lead Pre-Sales Engineer for CNC Machining to guide aerospace/defense opportunities from discovery to proposal. You will lead Applications Engineers, shape technical solutions, and work with Sales to price and position offerings.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical engineering background, deep CNC knowledge, and demonstrated leadership in technical selling, with experience translating customer needs into executable manufacturing proposals.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field required.
• Experience with aerospace/defense proposals and customer engagement.
• Deep CNC applications, estimating, or manufacturing engineering experience.

Mansioni

• Lead Applications Engineers and ensure proposal quality and accountability.
• Partner with Sales on discovery, pricing, and negotiations.
• Own the technical strategy of CNC quotations including tooling, cycle times, and inspection.
• Develop manufacturing concepts and lead DFM discussions with customers.
• Handoff awarded work and improve future estimates from quote-to-actual results.
