Job summary

Lanco is hiring a Power Systems Engineer to lead full product development cycles for drivetrain systems in our Material Handling Division. This hands‑on leadership role guides projects from concept through completion within a structured stage‑gate process.

You will mentor engineers, optimize BOMs, and collaborate with vendors, internal teams, and management to meet performance, cost, and schedule targets. Travel up to 10% is expected; a Mechanical/Agricultural Engineering degree with 7–10 years

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering.
7–10 years of progressive engineering experience.
P.Eng. license and PMI certifications preferred.
Experience supporting full‑machine product development and drivetrain systems.

Responsibilities

Lead full product development cycles from conception through completion.
Develop and present technical and project updates to technical management and engineers.
Lead drivetrain design, development, integration and validation.
Manage multi‑tiered BOMs and ERP integration.
Lead root cause analysis and support quality initiatives.
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams; conduct site visits for quality audits.
Support RFQ processes and interpret contracts affecting scope, timelines and cost.
Mentor and develop junior engineers.
