Job summary

The Perry Group, a CDM Smith company, is seeking an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with extensive heavy industrial power and power-plant experience. You will lead project definitions, schedules, budgets, and client communications, while coordinating with engineering, construction, and stakeholders to ensure profitability and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include managing costs, change control, and risk monitoring; mentoring junior staff and preparing monthly reports.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
Thirteen (13) or more years of relevant work experience.
PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification required within 12 months of hire or promotion.

Responsibilities

Creates project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives for projects.
Prepares statements of work with work breakdown structures and gains concurrence from stakeholders.
Manages project costs and profitability.
Prepares and reviews client billings; ensures timely payments and approves subcontracts.
Monitors project status, risks, and change management.
Communicates deadlines and objectives to project team.
Prepares overall project schedule and in-house budgets by group.
Facilitates meetings with stakeholders.
Mentors less experienced Project Managers.
