Job summary

The Perry Group, a CDM Smith company, seeks an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with heavy industrial power/power plant experience to lead complex projects from definition through closeout. You will drive schedules, budgets, risk management, and change control while ensuring profitability and timely client invoicing.

Responsibilities include coordinating engineering and field teams, preparing and distributing reports, bid packages, addenda, and contract modifications, and mentoring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Thirteen or more years of relevant work experience.
• PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification required within 12 months of hire or promotion.

Responsibilities

• Creates project definitions, schedules, budgets and objectives for projects.
• Manages project costs and profitability.
• Prepares detailed statements of work with work breakdown structures and gains concurrence from stakeholders.
• Creates and reviews client billings and ensures timely payment; reviews subcontractor/vendor invoices.
• Monitors project status, risks, and change management; escalates as needed.
• Prepares monthly reports, bid packages, addendums, and contract modifications.
• Coordinates with project construction manager for pre-bid meetings and closeout.
• Mentors less experienced Project Managers.
