Job summary

American Electric Power in Kentucky is seeking a seasoned supervisor to lead technical crews in maintaining power plant process equipment, plan outages, and coordinate troubleshooting while upholding safety and company leadership standards.

You will supervise training, manage daily work plans, respond to emergencies, ensure safe conditions, and interact across departments to keep work flowing efficiently and in compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in technical field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum four to eight years power plant experience depending on degree.
• Strong supervision and leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of plant operations, safety rules, and permits.
• Ability to interpret prints and drawings.
