Job summary

Blue Origin LLC seeks a Senior Power Electronics & PCB Design Engineer Lead to guide a team of circuit and PCB designers for PMAD electronics. You will own board architecture, drive cost and mass reduction, and ensure producibility for spaceflight hardware.

Responsibilities include design verification, environmental qualification, and flight readiness support. The role requires a strong background in power electronics, high-voltage design, and IPC/DFM practices, with leadership experience across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Materials Science Engineering, Physics, or related field plus 8+ years electronics hardware development.
• Hands-on experience with power electronics, high-voltage switching, and PCB layout considering creepage/clearance.
• Familiarity with IPC standards and DFM/DFT for production electronics.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team designing PMAD electronics for power management and distribution.
• Define board architecture, optimize for cost, mass, and producibility, and drive DFM/DFT.
• Oversee validation, environmental qualification, and production release activities.
