Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a Lead Power Electronics and PCB Design Engineer to direct a team of engineers in PMAD electronics for spaceflight applications. You will own architecture decisions, drive cost and mass reductions, and ensure design is buildable at high production rates.

The role combines technical leadership with hands-on engineering, overseeing schematic reviews, layout, verification, and qualification across multi-layer PCBs and high-power systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• 5+ years in electronics hardware development with leadership experience.
• Experience with high-power, high-voltage PCB design and layout.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of PCB and circuit engineers for PMAD design and production readiness.
• Own PMAD architecture decisions for power distribution and signaling.
• Drive cost/mass reduction, modularity, and DFM improvements.
