Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a hands-on Power Electronics Engineer in Massachusetts to drive innovation from concept through production of advanced DC/DC power products. You will work with cross-functional teams and customers to deliver robust designs.

You will design, simulate, test, and document power conversion solutions, selecting components, reviewing PCB layouts, and leading development from concept through manufacturing release. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
5+ years of hands-on power electronics design experience with VRMs and high-frequency topologies.
Demonstrated expertise in power conversion circuit design and analysis; circuit simulation and modeling.
PCB layout considerations and feedback control theory.
EMC/EMI compliance and digital/analog interface circuitry.
Strong analytical and mathematical problem-solving abilities; leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

Design and develop advanced DC/DC power conversion products.
Lead all aspects of product development from concept to manufacturing release.
Component selection and evaluation; simulation, testing, and validation.
PCB layout and design review; engineering documentation.
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and product teams.
Interface with customers and stakeholders to support requirements and objectives.
Contribute to R&D initiatives and topology development.
