Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a hands-on power electronics engineer to drive the development of next-generation DC/DC power products from concept to production. You will join a cutting-edge engineering organization focused on advanced power conversion solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams, manufacturing partners, and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on power electronics design experience.
• Experience with DC/DC power converters and VRMs.
• Strong knowledge of high-power, high-frequency design and PCB layout.
• Familiarity with EMC/EMI design and compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop DC/DC power conversion products.
• Lead all phases from concept to manufacturing release.
• Design and analyze DC/DC converters, high-frequency magnetics, analog/mixed-signal circuits.
• Component selection, evaluation, simulation, testing.
• Develop specifications and engineering docs.
• PCB layout reviews for electrical, thermal, manufacturability.
• Troubleshoot design, performance, reliability issues.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, test, and product engineering.
• Interface with customers to understand requirements.
• Drive improvements for performance, reliability, cost optimization.
