Job description

We design and manufacture advanced battery pack systems for motive and stationary energy storage applications. Our team develops high-performance, durable battery solutions along with custom battery management systems (BMS) and production process lines. We are committed to strengthening the domestic battery value chain through reliable, cost-effective technology and exceptional engineering execution.

The Role

As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the architecture, design, and validation of advanced battery systems. You will define electrical system structures, develop schematics, select and integrate critical hardware, and perform key thermal and power dissipation analyses.

This role spans the full product lifecycle and requires strong systems thinking, analytical rigor, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly across teams and customers.

What You’ll Do
  • Define and document high- and low-voltage system architecture, distribution networks, and protection strategies for battery packs
  • Develop and own electrical schematics, including sensors, contactors, fuses, connectors, harnessing, and control electronics
  • Evaluate, select, and integrate components such as current sensors, microcontrollers, and power electronics with safety, performance, and manufacturability in mind
  • Perform thermal and power dissipation calculations to ensure reliable operation under varying environmental and load conditions
  • Contribute to circuit design, simulation, bench testing, and validation of measurement, control, and protection systems
  • Support DFMEA activities, functional safety requirements (ISO 26262 or equivalent), and compliance with applicable standards including UL
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, software, manufacturing, and program management teams to ensure robust product integration
  • Develop validation plans, analyze test data, and troubleshoot electrical system issues
  • Prepare and present technical findings and recommendations to customers, suppliers, and internal leadership
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline) with strong emphasis on systems design and practical application
  • 3+ years of experience in system-level design of battery packs or comparable high-voltage electrical systems
  • 4+ years of engineering experience in automotive, aerospace, industrial, or related sectors
  • Strong proficiency in electrical system design and schematic capture tools
  • Experience with component selection and integration for high-voltage and low-voltage systems
  • Knowledge of electronics thermal management and power dissipation analysis
  • Familiarity with high-voltage safety standards, EMC/EMI practices, and grounding/shielding techniques
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with battery management systems (BMS), embedded electronics, or control algorithms
  • Background in functional safety (ISO 26262) or similar industry standards
  • Experience leading projects or coordinating cross-functional technical efforts
  • Familiarity with battery modeling, simulation, and experimental validation methods
