Job summary

DG Foods is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead the poultry cone-line deboning operations in Bastrop, LA. You will oversee daily production, ensure safety, quality, and efficiency, and drive throughputs and yields while controlling costs.

You will coach supervisors, coordinate with maintenance, QA, and plant leadership, manage staffing, and uphold USDA/HACCP standards. The role requires five years in management in poultry processing and flexibility with schedule.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of management experience, preferably in poultry processing.
• Strong leadership and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work varied hours, holidays, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily debone operations to meet production schedules and customer commitments.
• Monitor throughput, line speeds, yields, and overall performance; identify bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, QA, HR, Shipping, and plant leadership to improve plant performance.
• Coach and evaluate supervisors; manage staffing, training, and employee relations.
