Job summary

DG Foods is seeking a Production Supervisor to join our management team at our Bastrop, LA facility. This role oversees the production line operations during a designated shift, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.

Bi-lingual English/Spanish is a plus. The supervisor will train and motivate staff, learn USDA, HACCP, SSOP, and GPM policies, and collaborate with functional leaders to meet regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Must be at least 18 years old and maintain professionalism.
• Excellent organizational and critical thinking skills.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Oversee plant line production operations on the designated shift.
• Train and motivate staff to maintain operational excellence.
• Learn and apply USDA, HACCP, SSOP, and GPM policies for compliance.
• Uphold safety programs and conduct inspections to mitigate hazards.
• Monitor operations to meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Implement cost-saving measures and promote efficiency.
