Job summary

Sshic is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead the design and analysis of post-tensioned floors and reinforced concrete structures in accordance with international codes and GCC regulations.

The role requires 5–10 years of experience, proficiency in RAM Concept, ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, and Adapt, and strong leadership and communication abilities. Prior experience with PT sequencing and wind/seismic design is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 5–10 years of structural design experience, including GCC projects.
• Proficiency in RAM Concept, ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000 and Adapt.
• Familiarity with PT construction sequencing and stressing procedures.
• Knowledge of wind and seismic design principles.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• BIM modeling experience and familiarity with local authority submissions are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare structural calculations, design reports, and technical specifications.
• Design post-tension floors and reinforced concrete structures (ACI, ASCE, SBC, IBC).
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and project managers.
• Conduct value engineering and optimize structural systems.
• Participate in client and authority technical meetings.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and project timelines.
