Job summary

Techoundsllc is seeking a structural engineer with 5+ years of experience in analysis and design to contribute to innovative projects in Pasadena. You will work under senior engineers and PMs, collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to deliver solutions for new constructions, renovations, and seismic upgrades.

Proficiency with ETABS, SAFE, RAM, and RISA is required, as well as knowledge of IBC, CBC, ASCE 7, ACI-318, and AISC-341.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in structural analysis and design
• Experience with small to mid-sized buildings including new construction, renovations, and seismic upgrades a plus
• Proficient with IBC, CBC, ASCE 7, ACI-318, and AISC-341
• Knowledge of NDS; Mass Timber is a plus
• DSA and/or OSHPD experience a plus (plan checks and construction phases)
• Proficient with ETABS, SAFE, RAM, and RISA

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Senior Project Engineers and Project Managers on structural design and analysis tasks
• Contribute to multidisciplinary project teams with clear communication
• Assist in plan checks, construction documentation, and seismic upgrade projects
