Job summary

Requirements include a B.S. in Civil Engineering, EIT, plus experience with RAM, ETABS, AutoCAD, and Revit, with PE/SE preferred. Excellent client communication and on-site inspection skills are valued.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering with a focus on structural engineering.
• E.I.T. certification required; P.E. or S.E. license preferred.
• Hands-on experience with structural systems and materials, including steel, concrete, wood, and masonry.
• Preferred experience with multifamily Type III/V wood construction and post-tensioned concrete design.
• Proficiency with RAM and ETABS.
• Skilled in drafting and modeling with AutoCAD and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural calculations using engineering fundamentals and building codes.
• Utilize engineering software tools to support CAD and analysis.
• Attend on-site meetings and inspect during construction phases.
• Draft formal reports summarizing field observations and progress.
• Maintain regular client communication throughout design and construction.
