The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) seeks a nurse case manager for the Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program to support surveillance, testing, and prevention activities across Colorado.

You will provide consultation to clinics, perform blood lead testing for children and adults, educate caregivers to reduce exposure, and notify clinicians of exposure sources found during investigations.

Responsabilidades

• The purpose of this position is to serve as a nurse case manager within CCLPPP.
• Provide consultation and education to clinics and providers related to blood lead testing and reporting and provide blood lead testing to children and adults across the state.
• Provide caregivers with health education to reduce lead exposure, and notifies clinicians of exposure sources found during investigations.
• Provide guidance to local public health agencies and clinicians related to reporting requirements and how data is used to provide follow-up services, and educate others in the environmental investigation requirements and follow-up process.
• Applies quality control measures and evaluates data for compliance with regulations, requirements, and engages reporters to achieve and maintain compliance.
