Job summary

Capstone Mechanical is seeking an experienced plumber/foreman responsible for plumbing duties, quality control, safety, and site housekeeping under the Field Supervisor or Crew Foreman. The role leads less experienced staff and coordinates with general contractors to meet code and safety standards.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, planning material orders, directing wall-system installations, and conducting weekly safety meetings.

Qualifications

• Two years of trade school or equivalent technical training.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
• Familiarity with safety procedures, regulations, and proper tool use.
• Able to perform physical tasks and operate construction equipment.

Responsibilities

• Reads blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine plumbing layouts.
• Plans ahead two weeks and orders materials accordingly.
• Directs workers in preassembly and installation of wall systems and fixtures.
• Conducts weekly job safety meetings and maintains safety records.
• Keeps records of installations and repairs per SOPs.
